Yavapai Lodge has total 358 guest rooms which made it the largest lodge in Grand Canyon National Park. Yavapai Lodge is located about a half a mile from the Grand Canyon south rim. You can walk to the Grand Canyon south rim in about 10 minutes from Yavapai Lodge.
The six two-story wood buildings in Yavapai Lodge east section offer 198 rooms with in-room air conditioning, coffee, and refrigerator.
The ten single-story buildings in Yavapai Lodge west section offer 160 guest rooms that are not air conditioned but feature vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office. The National Park Service Visitor Center is within a short walk - approximately 1/2 mile.

Yavapai Lodge features the Canyon Cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The curio shop has a wide range of gifts and a transportation / activities desk is located in the lobby.
